This linerlock folder by William McHenry features a damascus blade with fileworked spine, and a thumbstud with a saphire inlay. The handle has damascus bolsters, mastadon scales and stainless steel backspacer. One screw on the bolster has the initials WM and the other has filework as well. Inside the spine is engraved McHenry 1991 125. His initials can also be found near the base of the blade. There is a small section of abalone shell in the spine. Measures approx 6″ open and 3 1/3″ closed. Knife has never been used or carried, it does have a very small scratch on the handle – see last photo. This is a William Henry WH-T09CFD carbon fiber handle, liner lock Damascus blade small gentlemens folding knife from about 2003. It has been briefly, and very gently carried, has never been honed, and is still pretty much razor sharp. Some time ago the original sapphire that was in the thumb stud was lost, so I replaced it with an opal, as you can see in the photos. The knife is in excellent, like new condition otherwise. This light weight but sturdy little knife is the perfect pocket companion when something bigger, heavier, and bulky would be impractical, and it is quite attractive.
