Boker Tree Brand Damascus Lockback Folder in Wood Display Case. 1000 Year Old Bog Oak Handles Excellent Condition. Offered here is a Boker Tree Brand Damascus folding knife in wood display case. The blade is beautiful 300 layer Soligen Damascus Steel. The handles are ancient bog oak that is stated to be about 1000 years old. I believe this knife was a Limited Edition issued in the late 1990’s but it does not have a serial number on the knife or the paperwork so I cannot be certain. It measures about 4-1/4″ closed and 7-1/2″ open. Comes with wood display case and paperwork. The top of the display case has a few scratches and something that looks like glue residue along part of the top edge. This knife is from an estate sale; see my other auctions for more knives from this collection by a longtime knife collector. From a smoke-free and pet-free home. Böker Scout folding knife (item number 112022DAM) with Damascus steel blade and Amboina wood handle; manufactured in Solingen, Germany. I originally bought this knife (around 10 years ago) for it’s beauty and exceptionally high quality, intending to use it for everyday carry, but quickly realized it was almost too nice to do so. It’s in very good condition (see pictures) and sat in its clear plastic display case for 98% of the time. Elegant lockback knife with beautiful amboina scales. In contrast to the traditional construction with brass liners and brazed-on bolsters, the solid nickel-silver body is made from a single piece. It is constructed in a complex sinter process and handles effortlessly. The blade consists of stainless steel, hand-forged ladder damascus from Chad Nichols/USA.
