Made in 1998 this knife has a beautifully and masterfully hollow ground fine twist damasteel blade just under 3 inches 6.75 overall… Vinland damasteel bolsters anodized titanium liners and accents.. Smooth functioning gentlemans art knife… This is a beautiful knife showcasing howard’s precision fit and finish skills.. Comes as pictured knife and sheath(pics really don’t do it justice).. Below is some info provided to me by Howard. This model did not have a name and judging by the name mark and similar knives in my records, I think it was made approx. 1998 in Peterborough NH. I moved here from England in early 1997. The handle scales appear to be African Sneezewood. I went to South Africa in the early 1990s and got the wood then. Its a very hard wood with a fine grain and is termite-proof so they used it for fence posts! The blade is fine twist Damasteel which they stopped making many years ago a pity, as I liked it. The bolsters are probably Vinland (random) Damasteel. Liners, main screw & thumb opener are titanium. The pouch looks to be like one someone in the UK made for me. Handmade linerlock folder from Kang Jangtanong from the famed knife making province of Uthai Thani in Thailand. Unused in excellent condition. Blade steel is Blue Damascus. The blade is tight with snap. Carved Blue Damascus bolsters with hand file worked stainless steel liners and back spring. Scales are carved green pearl with an abalone inlay with no chips or cracks. Screws are gold plated. The last photo is of a knife made by THE knife maker of Uthai Thani Provence, Thailand Suchat Jangtanong. I put it up just to show the quality and prices paid for knives from this Provence. Comes in a new nylon zippered pouch. Streaks and smudges are fingerprints and polish residue.
