This is a handmade, lock-back folding knife made by Rick Nowland. It is in excellent condition. Rick began making knives in 1986, and at that time they consisted of fixed blade knives. He started making slip-joint folders in 1995, and today that is his specialty. The blade is Damascus, and is in unused condition. The blade opens without a nail nick. It locks up tight with the slightest hint of lateral movement – if you try. The handle scales are smooth bone, with nice amber and red colors. The dovetail bolster could be nickel silver. The blade as you can see in the pics is off center, but I can slip a piece of paper between the blade and liner when closed. Nice gents carry to drop in the pocket. It will come in a carrying case or pouch for storage. This knife comes from a life-long collection of knives that were well-taken care of, and with very few exceptions, properly stored.
