This knife blade has been forged from 396 layers of very high quality 1095HC (High Carbon) steel and 15N20 Nickel Carbon which is then heated and folded creating the astounding Damascus steel. The knife shows an excellent raindrop wave Damascus pattern with immense detail. The Damascus blade is accented by the wild animal polished bone grip scales that show a beautiful deep blue / grey coloring and are further decorated with a silver hand cut inlaid American Bald Eagle emblem with wings spread taking flight. The bolsters are each matching forged raindrop Damascus and have been hand stippled / hammered by David Yellowhorse with his iconic stepped design. The pocketknife shows hand vile filed solid brass bolster linings with the spring frame also having the same vine file work. The engraved linings are also filed on the inside of the grip, a truly artful addition. The knife is hand engraved signed on the bolster, David Yellowhorse. The knife has been paired with a Great American Bison Buffalo leather hand crafted sheath.
