Mcusta combines the traditional Japanese craftsmanship with modern machinery and design software. Unlike other brands, Mcusta does not use the conventional method of die stamping their blades. Every component is CNC machined and laser cut to assure the best possible precision fit. Each knife is then hand assembled and hand finished and inspected by Mcusta’s craftsmen. The Take is a small dress folder with eye catching aesthetics and excellent balance. The African Ebony wood handles are contoured to resemble bamboo. The blade is a 33 layer VG-10 core nickel Damascus.
