This knife IS brand new in the unique Boker “display” packaging. However, this knife is also a survivor of a fire that ravaged my distributors warehouse. The knife itself was not damaged in the fire, but the box did have a small amount of soot on it which I have wiped away, and it appears the “rubberized plastic” sheets that sandwich the knife show a little light-fading at the left side (the display box itself is not perfect). You can still detect the smell of smoke on the box itself. The knife, however, is in pristine condition as it was completely protected between the two sheets of material that make up the “display case” this item is contained within. Parker JK-2D Damascus Folding Bowie Knife modeled after an IXL pattern Japan. This is one of 12 Bowie knife patterns which were made for Parker Knives in Japan by Custom Maker Tak Fukuta. The knives were modeled after knives from one of the world’s finest Bowie collections – that of Mr. This is model JK-2D, a replica of IXL Cutlery. This is a much rarer version. Only (at most) 100 were made in Damascus steel. The knife is 11 inches long open and 6 1/2 inches closed with a 5 inch Damascus blade.. The handles are second cut stag.
