The fiberglass reinforced nylon handles come molded with Bi-Directional Texturing for preferred traction and improved ergonomics. Inside the handle dual skeletonized stainless steel liners make the knife stronger without adding weight and make an anchor for all external and internal components to attach through adding sturdiness and rigidity. Their VG-10 blades are flat saber-ground with a stronger tip and larger 13mm opening hole. Added to the blade’s spine is slip resistant jimping. Phosphor bronze washers smooth out the open/close action and the clip is upgraded to a four-way tip-up, tip-down, left- or right-handed clip. Custom handmade folding knife from Brandant Robinson (Cedar City, Utah – therobinsonedge dot com). Based on Brandant’s “Guardian” knife pattern. Handmade with no CNC. 3″ blade, 7″ overall length, 6oz (due to the copper). If you’re not familiar with Brandant’s work, Nick Shabazz has a review up on YouTube of one of his simpler pieces. The materials used here drove the price up. Stainless Damascus steel blade in a “feather” pattern. Zirconium scales with Chad Nichols CuZr (copper-zirconium) mokume bolsters, front and rear. Edge-cut CuZr backspacer; zirconium pocket clip. Titanium liner lock, bronze anodized with internal jeweling. Titanium thumbstud, bronze anodized. Never used or carried – I’ve had this on a display stand since I got it, direct from Brandant, in early 2019. Very smooth action on phosphor bronze washers, with solid lockup. The copper has developed some light patina, especially on the backspacer. This can be cleaned off easily if desired. Includes Certificate of Authenticity. There are no scratches or scuffs that I can find, on either the blade or the scales. Please let me know if you would like to see any additional pictures. Pattern number is 51059 L D – LOCKBACK (“L”) PATTERN WITH DAMASCUS BLADE (“D”). NICKEL-SILVER BOLSTERS WITH FANCY ETCHING. Length 3 1/8 closed. Factory sharpened, with full blade. Bolster etched “CASE XX 216″. Handles well-matched front and back; without cracks on front or back. Tight knife with absolutely no blade play, even when you tug on the blade. Good snaps on blade when opening and closing. I have not cleaned, buffed, or otherwise modified this knife. See photos for details.
