For your consideration is a folding knife created by Robert Carter, with a damascus steel blade forged with a dense feather pattern, and damascus steel bolsters. The scales are made of mammoth ivory and the thumb stud also has a mammoth ivory inlay. The liners and backspacer are made of anodized titanium (brown and green respectively), and have some very nice filework. The screws are gold plated. Blade centers well and has a solid lock. Opens smoothly with the flick of a thumb. The only things that could be considered flaws would be some minor imperfections with the mammoth ivory scales, mainly along the front and spine, visible in pictures 3,4, & 5. Mammoth ivory is apparently not a very uniform material. If curious, you can find this knife on the Arizona Custom Knives website if you look on Robert Carter’s store page, with the price that was originally paid for this.
