Beautiful jigged bone handles no cracks or chips. Mr Hawes uses screws rather than pins in the handles on many of his knives. Chuck Hawes, Waldon, Ill, has been a full time custom knifemaker since 1995 and is a member of the Knife Guild. He forges his own damascus and supplies other custom makers with it.
