HIGONOKAMI Rare Especialy Damascus Folding Japanese Knife Genuine NAGAO KANEKOMA. This is a genuine Especialy Damascus Blue steel Hand forging knife handmade by the long-established Japanese knife maker “Nagao Kanekoma Factory”. The fifth generation Higonokami blacksmith, Mitsuo Nagao, handmade it with great care, and it is very rare with the highest peak knife in the Higonokami series. Eight layers of the finest blue steel and mild steel with excellent sharpness and durability are layered and forged by hand to make Especialy Damascus. Especialy Damascus does not have the same pattern, so it is the only knife you own in the world. The back of the brass handle is engraved with a picture of a tiger trying to come out of the bamboo bush and Mr. Nagao’s famous name.
