Created by respected Italian knife designer, Michele Pensato, aka Molletta, this rugged folder is also framed from a single piece of Titanium alloy. This deluxe version of the SR-2 with an exquisite Damascus blade is built with a 5-grade SOLID® Ti6Al4V titanium monolithic body fitted with frame lock, made with a solid piece of titanium and milled with machining stations. The blade is built with Stainless Damascus produced in the US by Chad Nichols in a beautiful RainDrop pattern, and is fixed with dual thumb studs for easy one-hand opening. Lionsteel has equipped this folder with the patented RotoBlock system, a unique backup locking mechanism, or lockbar stabilizer, which utilizes a pivoting button to effectively lock the blade in the open or closed position. The lockbar itself is reinforced with a hardened steel attachment that can be replaced after years of use to insure the lockup remains rock solid. The SR-2 includes a reversible titanium pocket clip and handy tool key for reversing or removing same, and is presented in a handsome wooden display box.
