This RARE knife was made for AG Russell in Maniago, Italy, which is one of the three main knife manufacturing centers of Europe (along with Sheffield, England, and Solingen, Germany). Consequently, it has “Old World” quality and top-tier production standards built in. Just look at that gorgeous, collector grade, thick gnarly stag handle — absolutely stunning. The highly figured, fine grain Damascus steel has never been carried, used or sharpened and retains the original, razor sharp factory edge. Precision engineered liner lock secures the (open) blade nice and tight, rock solid with no play, movement or blade wobble whatsoever. This collector grade knife is stylish and elegant; and, it is also fully functional, extremely sharp and potentially lethal if used as a weapon. Although this is a presentation grade example of fine cutlery and exquisite Italian master craftsmanship, it’s not just a beautiful “safe queen” intended to be displayed on the mantelpiece, it’s designed to perform with class.
