This is a rare, handmade, slip-joint folding knife made by Rick Nowland. It is in excellent condition. Rick began making knives in 1986, and at that time they consisted of fixed blade knives. He started making slip-joint folders in 1995, and today that is his specialty. The blade is Damascus, and is in unused condition. The handle is Mokume Gane, with reddish brown and blue tints. The blade opens with a nail nick. It has a half-stop. And it closes with a loud snap. It locks up tight, with only the slightest hint of lateral play – if you really try hard. The handle is only 0.21 thick, making this a great gentlemen’s carry. It will come in a carrying case or pouch for storage. This knife comes from a life-long collection of knives that were well-taken care of, and with very few exceptions, properly stored. You are always welcome to contact me for additional pictures.
